Who's the cutest porcupine around? Rico, of course! Join us June 12 at 7pm EST as we create a canvas painting of Rico and hear firsthand from one of his keepers about Rico's life at the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Gardens! Order your kit here, and we'll ship it to your home. Got a Rico-loving friend or family member living in another city? Get your orders in and paint together during our Zoom class!
Paint kits include a sketched canvas, four brushes, and all the paint you'll need to complete your painting. AS A SPECIAL BONUS, we'll also include a special laser-cut and engraved ornament of Rico for you to paint as well! Ornaments are 3.75" in diameter so they work great as car charms too!
We'll send the Zoom link a couple of weeks before the June 12 virtual painting event. During the event, you'll receive step-by-step instructions to complete your Rico masterpiece. (Not available on the 12th? That's ok! We will have the video link for you once the class has been held! There will also be detailed step-by-step instructions with your kit should you want to do it on your own. ) Our special guest for the first portion of the class will be one of the Cincinnati Zoo keepers responsible for taking care of Rico, and she'll give us behind-the-scenes details about this adorable little 'pine! You'll be able to ask the keeper questions for the first half-hour as well, so be thinking about what you'd like to know. A portion of the proceeds of each kit sale benefits the Cincinnati Zoo and its important conservation efforts.
